I made these for my brothers engagement party!!!! They were really fun to make. You can use any sugar cookie recipe.. or really any recipe that can be rolled and cut into shapes. Then I used heart cookie cutters and cut out the shapes and baked them. In order to make the icing really easy to use I just mixed water, confectioners' sugar and food coloring. I made it thick enough so that is wasn't gross and watery but just thin enough that I could dip the cookies into it instead of having to spread the icing on. So I would dip the cookies in and then if I had to I would use a knife to spread the icing a little and touch it up. I then poured some red crystal sprinkles on some of the cookies!
