Apple Pie

So the recipe really said to use the frozen pillsbury pie crust so I googled to find a recipe similar and I found this really simple recipe.

Pie Crust:
1 1/8 cup all purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar (I put in a little more to make sure it was sweet)
1 stick margarine cold
About 3 tbsps ice water plus more as needed

I doubled the recipe cause I like a little bit of a thick crust and I wanted to make sure I had enough. It ended up being enough to make one big pie (as shown in the pics) and a small one.

Mix all the ingredients together and add as much water as needed until the dough forms into a ball.Refrigerate the dough for 30 min.

After 30 min. roll dough into a square. Spread some maple syrup on the dough and then sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Roll up the dough and then refrigerate again for about 20 min.

After 20 min take dough out and cut into slices and put them on the bottom of a pan (Spray pan first). Keep adding cinnamon rolls until the entire bottom and side are covered.

Cut up apples, I used 4 but you can use more or less depending on what you like. Cut apples into slices and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar and pour inside crust.

Topping:

1 Cup flour

1 Cup brown sugar
1 stick margarine

Mix together and sprinkle over the pie.

Bake at 350 for about 30 min.

When cooled mix confections sugar and water together and drizzle over the pie.
