I made these bars this weekend and they were a total hit!!! Everyone loved them and they were pretty easy to make every though they seem complicated!
Directions:
***** This recipe is made for an 8x8 pan , you can double it and make it in a 9x13 like I did******
Brownies:
Make any brownie recipe you like, it can be from scratch or from a mix.
Cook and let cool (while cooking and cooling you can do the other parts of the recipe)
Cookie dough:
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup granulated sugar
4 tbsp butter , softened
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 tablespoons milk
Do not cook the cookie dough. Let it just sit until it is ready to be used. Do not chill or freeze, leave at room temperature
Oreo crust:
Crush up oreos (around 20)
Mix crushed oreos with a little bit of butter or margarine (around 6 tabs)
Smooth crushed oreos on the bottom of the pan and then cook for about 10 minutes at 350.
(oreo crust may look soft when you first take it out of the oven but it will harden up)
Let the crust cool before putting brownie and cookie dough on top
Take the cookie dough and brownies and mix them together however you like. I used all my brownie but not all my cookie dough since I like less cookie dough but it is up to you! You can put chunks of brownie in the dough or kind of smush it all together, you can even just layer them also if you would rather that instead of mixing.
Then melt chocolate bars or chips (about 12 oz) with about 4 tbsp of milk and mix together and our on top of the cookie and brownie later!
I used the remainder of my cookie dough and made chocolate chip cookies out of it. I baked them at 350 for about 10 minutes
