Parshas Bo - Eye Cupcakes

This weeks parsha is parshas Bo. The last three makos are in this parsha. One of those makos is makos חוֹשֶך. So I made eyeball cupcakes for all the Egyptians that couldn't see.

This is also a simple recipe because it can also be made with a cake mix. Make the cake mix - I used a brownie mix- according to the package. I baked the mix in cupcake tins.

When the cupcakes are cooked and cooled make some icing. I made a very simple icing of confectioners sugar and water. Pour 2 cups of confectioners sugar into a bowl. Add water a tsp at a time until you have the right consistency. It should be thicker than a simple glaze but not too thick. (You can always add more water later if needed.)

Ice the cupcake tops. Seperate the rest of the icing into 3 or 4 cups (depending on how many different color eyes you want to make) I did three and make 1 cup of green, 1 of red and 1 of black (can use cocoa and make brown if you dont have black).

First make the red swirls for the veins in the eyeball. Next Make a big circle in the middle of whatever color you want the eye to be. And lastly use the black and make a small dot in the center.
